Meet Our Family

This is the most important page on my website. I get to tell you all about our family, how we raise and care for our kittens, what makes them special, and why we love them SO much! If there is any page you spend time on and read through, I hope it's this one. 🐱 ❤️ 🐾

We’re a family of five with four kids, lots of laughter, and a house that is almost never quiet. Raising beautiful, affectionate Ragdoll and Devon Rex kittens is what we do, but it’s also a big part of our everyday life. This isn’t just a business for us—it’s something our whole family is truly involved in and passionate about.

One of the things we love most is that we get to do all of this together. The kids are part of everything, from helping with tiny kittens that need a little extra care to going along with us to cat shows. Our show weekends usually mean packing up the car with supplies, cats, and kids and turning it into a fun little family trip. The kids love helping brush and hold the cats, and they get so excited seeing them admired by the judges and everyone there.

Our kittens are raised right in the middle of our home, surrounded by kids, everyday noise, and a whole lot of love. They’re played with, cuddled, and included in our everyday lives from the time they’re tiny. This is something we’ve built as a family, and it means so much to us to share that with the people who eventually bring one of our kittens home.

🐾 About Our Cattery

Socialization starts here long before our kittens are big enough to run around the house. When they’re newborns, we handle them gently every day while checking and weighing them. As they get a little older and their eyes and ears begin to open, they start spending more time with us and becoming familiar with our voices, touch, and all the normal sounds happening around them.

Once they’re up and moving, the fun really starts. They get lots of time to play, explore, climb into laps, interact with the kids, and get used to being picked up and handled. We spend so much time with them that we get to know who the little troublemakers are, who wants to be carried everywhere, and who would rather curl up next to us and watch what everyone else is doing.

We want our kittens to leave here already knowing that people are safe, hands mean cuddles, and everyday household life is nothing to worry about. Every kitten has their own personality, of course, but giving them so many positive experiences while they’re little helps give them a wonderful start before they join their new families.

🐾 Early Socialization

As much as we love beautiful cats, looks are only one part of what matters to us. We put a lot of thought into the Ragdoll and Devon Rex cats we choose for our breeding programs. Temperament and health are extremely important to us, along with structure, pedigrees, genetics, and the qualities each cat may pass along to future kittens.

We want to raise kittens that are beautiful examples of their breed, but just as importantly, we want them to have the sweet, affectionate personalities that make people fall in love with Ragdolls and Devon Rex in the first place.
Health is also something we take very seriously. We use genetic testing as part of our breeding decisions and carefully consider the cats we pair together. Our kittens receive regular hands-on care as they grow, along with veterinary care before they leave us.

And after raising them from tiny newborns, we know their personalities pretty well! We know who the little troublemakers are, who wants to be the center of attention, who would happily spend the entire day in someone's lap, and who prefers to sit nearby and supervise everything. We love getting to know each kitten as an individual and helping families find one that feels like the right fit for their home.

🐾 How We Raise Healthy, Happy Kittens

A lot happens behind the scenes before one of our kittens is ready to leave us. We want them healthy, prepared, and ready to make the transition into their new homes as easily as possible.

Each kitten goes home with:

  • A 5-year health guarantee and contract

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations

  • A veterinary health examination

  • Fecal check

  • Spay or neuter performed by our veterinarian

  • Microchip

  • Registration papers

  • Complete health and vaccination records

  • Preventive care before leaving

  • Litter box training

  • Detailed kitten care information

  • A recommended vaccination schedule

  • A starter bag with some of our favorite toys

  • A special blanket that smells like mom

  • Lifetime breeder support

We know bringing home a new kitten comes with about a million questions, especially during those first few days. We’re always here after your kitten goes home, whether you need advice, have a question, or just want to send us pictures and show us how spoiled they’ve become.

🐾 What Our Kittens Come With

Cat shows are something our whole family really enjoys, but there’s a lot more to showing than bringing home ribbons—although we definitely don't complain about those!

Showing gives us the opportunity to have our cats evaluated by judges who know the breed standards and understand the characteristics that make each breed unique. It gives us another perspective on our cats and helps us make thoughtful decisions about our breeding programs rather than simply choosing cats because we think they're pretty.

It also gives us a chance to spend time around other breeders and see beautiful examples of the breeds we love. There is always something new to learn, and showing has become an important—and really fun—part of what we do.

And then there are the show weekends themselves. With four kids coming along, they usually turn into family adventures. The kids help with the cats, watch the judging, and get just as excited as we do when one of our cats does well. It's one of those things that started because of the cats and ended up becoming something our whole family enjoys together.

🐾 Why We Show Our Cats

One of the fun things about raising two very different breeds is that there is so much variety around here.

With our Ragdolls, we especially love the traditional blue and seal colors along with the classic bicolor, mitted, and pointed patterns. Watching their coloring develop is one of our favorite parts because Ragdoll kittens are born so light and can change tremendously as they grow. And no matter how many we raise, those gorgeous blue eyes and fluffy coats never get old.

Our Devon Rex bring a completely different look to the family. Their curly coats, huge ears, expressive faces, and variety of colors make every litter fun to watch develop. We have pointed kittens as well as diluted and traditional colors, and you never quite know what adorable little face you're going to end up staring at.

They may look completely different from one another, but we think that's part of the fun of having both breeds.

🐾 Available Kitten Colors

Ragdolls and Devon Rex may look like they belong on opposite ends of the cat world, and their personalities can be pretty different too. That's exactly why we love having both.

Ragdolls are known for being sweet, gentle, affectionate companions. Many want to follow their people from room to room, greet you when you come home, and curl up nearby when it's time to relax. They tend to have an easygoing way about them, and then you add that fluffy coat and those beautiful blue eyes and they're pretty hard to resist.

Devon Rex bring a little more mischief to the party. They're playful, curious, entertaining, and usually convinced that whatever you're doing requires their assistance. They can often be found perched on shoulders, crawling under blankets, climbing into laps, or following their people around like tiny little shadows.

Of course, no two cats are exactly alike. We've had Ragdolls with plenty of sass and Devons who would happily spend half the day cuddled up with their person. That's part of why we enjoy watching their personalities develop so much.

The biggest thing our Ragdoll and Devon Rex cats have in common is how much they enjoy being part of the family. They don't just live in the background of the house. They have a funny way of becoming involved in your routines, taking over your favorite chair, supervising whatever you're doing, and eventually making you wonder what you ever did without them.

🐾 Why We Love Ragdolls & Devon Rex

Unfortunately, kitten scams have become incredibly common, and we know how scary it can be to send money to someone you've never met for a kitten you've found online. We want families to know what to look for whether they ultimately get a kitten from us or someone else.

We've put together guides on How to Choose a Breeder and Avoiding Kitten Scams with some of the things we think every family should check before committing to a kitten. There are some surprisingly simple ways to spot red flags, verify who you're dealing with, and make buying a kitten online a whole lot safer.

🐾 Avoid Being Scammed

🐾 Let's Be Social

Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram for tons of pictures of our Ragdoll cats and kittens. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for adorable videos of our kittens.

We love sharing videos because they let you see so much more than a perfect kitten picture. You can actually watch our kittens grow, see how they interact with us, and get a little peek at everyday life around our house.

And if you end up bringing one of our babies home, don't disappear on us! We absolutely love getting pictures and updates and seeing what our kittens are up to after they leave.
