About Bayou Ragdolls — Where Love, Laughter & Floppy Ragdolls Meet

Welcome to our little corner of the world! We’re a family of five (yes — four kids, lots of giggles, and a house that’s rarely quiet) based in Louisiana. Breeding beautiful, affectionate Ragdoll kittens is our job — but it’s far more than that: it’s our joy, our home, and our family’s shared dream.

One of our favorite parts of raising Ragdolls is that we do it together as a family. The kids are involved in every step—from helping bottle-feed tiny babies that need a little extra help to cheering on our adults at cat shows. We’ve spent many weekends loading up the car with show supplies, cats, and kids in tow, turning every show into a little family adventure. The children love helping brush and hold the cats, and they take such pride when our Ragdolls are admired by judges and visitors. It’s more than just breeding for us—it’s something that brings our whole family closer. Our kittens grow up surrounded by that same love, laughter, and teamwork, and we believe it truly shows in their sweet, social personalities.

• A homeschooling family who loves messy floors, story time with cats curled up in laps, and the kind of home where a kitten might wander into every photo.

• We believe that a kitten raised in a loving home with children and everyday hustle and bustle becomes a confident, social cat.

• From the moment a kitten opens its eyes at Bayou Ragdolls, they’re part of our life: snuggled, played with, explored with — everything that makes them ready for your home.

How Our Kittens Grow Up

We raise all our Ragdolls right in our home. No cages. No isolated kennels. Just a warm, loving family environment.

• With four kids, there’s always activity. Toys rolling, little voices, footsteps, laughter — that means our kittens learn to love life, adapt easily, and are comfortable with children and pets alike.

• We believe that when your kitten comes home, it should already know the sounds and rhythms of a lived-in house: the TV in the background, footsteps down the hall, even the toddler’s dance party.

• Socialization is real here: from being gently held like a baby, to playing dress-up (yes, our kittens tolerate that!), to being part of the daily flow of our family. That translates into a cat who is loving, calm, affectionate, and ready to be your newest friend.
